DIRECT RESPONSE: THE HUNGRY DIETER
Struggling with obesity?
Want to lose weight easily?
Want to do it without being hungry?
I HAVE THE ANSWERS!
My name is Regina Benjamin and I offer weight loss coaching for people with PCOS who want healthy bodies but hate being hungry. My coaching stems from my own struggles with weight loss. I'm one of the 32 million American women who lives with PCOS, a condition that causes morbid obesity. For most of my life, I have struggled with my weight.
My problem is simple: I love to eat. In fact, I probably qualify as a bona-fide foodie. Luckily, I’m not a binge eater, but I’m always the one who orders the appetizer, the entree AND the dessert. Eating half of a 9” cake is not an uncommon experience for me. Thanks to PCOS, I’ve tried all kinds of diets over the years: the HCG diet, the paleo diet, veganism. I gained the weight back again and again.
But each time, I learned something new. A lot of things new, actually. After a while, I began to become curious about the worlds of weight loss and alternative health in general. I spent over 5 years studying these fields, learning as much as I could. And the next time I lost weight, the process was quick and easy. Plus - and this is a miracle - I wasn’t hungry.
Thanks to Weight Watchers, I've kept the weight off for years.
I’m not going to try to sell you complicated weight loss routines or pie-in-the-sky theories about how you need to change your attitude to change your weight. That stuff never worked for me, and I’ll bet it didn’t work for you either. If you've got PCOS, keeping the weight off is more complicated than it is for other people. And you need a special approach.
At the end of the day, weight loss is not a “lifestyle”. It’s a medical necessity. There’s no need to become a Vitamin Water-swilling triathlete in hot pants, or a blissful yogi on a permanent high. What you really want - and what I really needed - was tips, tricks, and techniques to make healthy living as easy as possible... and someone to keep you on track. There’s no art to it.
At the end of the day, food should be your friend. As someone who loves to eat, I can tell you that there are tips and tricks for cutting calories that don't involve deprivation. And that’s not all. There are tons of tricks for dealing with low energy, diabetes, and heartburn that will have you shaking your head in disbelief. I've even been known to make bald spots grow back and turn grey hair black!

DIRECT RESPONSE: NO SEX IN THE CITY
Hey Girls,
Who needs to hear about another Carrie Bradshaw? Life in New York for most single women hardly matches the Prada-fied, cocktails-and-condoms lifestyle portrayed by the media. For me and my friends, dating in New York is no parade of watermelon martinis, Brazilian bikini waxes, and wealthy Chads.
Instead, life is more like a stew of friendships, careers, and hobbies, with a stiff shot of dating chaos thrown in. Instead of the MDs who serve on nonprofit boards, we meet arrogant hedge fund bankers and aspiring rappers who drive Teslas. And that's if we can get a date at all... which, frankly, is somewhat rare.
Dating for us doesn’t involve a whirlwind of salon visits and Tulum bikini boot camps. Instead, it’s a journey of unexpected career paths (often at the local Best Buy), the ups and downs of relationships, unstable finances, and attacks of insecurity that hit when we've been to happy hour every other night for the past two months and stood alone by the bar so often that we started a collection of imported beer coasters.
If we're going to talk about dating in New York, it simply shouldn’t be about serial dating and being too poor to afford highlights at Oscar Blandi. Instead, we should talk about going a year without a date, or more. Learning to say "no" to cheating alcoholics, even if it means you'll be alone. Managing the crippling insecurities that every woman in this city grapples with and learning how to rise above them.
At some point, we've all wanted to be Carrie Bradshaw. The REAL story of New York dating life is how millions have learned to come to terms with something less. In my web series, No Sex in the City, I won't talk endlessly about my dating exploits. Instead, I'll talk about my career, my ambitions, and how I learned to cherish my life IN SPITE of the fact that not only has Mr. Right not shown up, neither has Mr. Wrong. Let’s lift a martini to TRUE girl power!
Bottoms up,
Grace Jackson
